The Heart of the Dreaming (#4265)

Description:
As you progress forward, you see a castle in the distance. As it grows larger in your vision, you cannot tell if it is actually gaining size, a miniature castle turning into a larger one, or if you're merely drawing closer to it. Nonetheless, before long it towers over you. It is an ancient thing, built of black marble and sweeping, obsidian arches, and decorated by ornate statues and intricate stained glass windows depicting millions of ancients myths and folktales from thousands of cultures. Directly before you looms a huge oak door, sealed shut, and so massive that it confounds you to think that either man or machine would be able to open it. Three statues, like guardians to the place, sit around the door in a trinity. To the left of the door, the statue of a gryphon. To the right, a pegasus. And resting above the door, a triumphant, western style dragon. Though the three are most certainly statues, they seem to be watching you with cold, lifeless eyes.
